Riparian Network Project
Land Stewardship & Water Resources
11/30/11 11:00:02 AM.© (NRA) -- All rights reserved.

Land Stewardship and Riparian Education Healthy, functioning, riparian areas keep Nueces Basin headwater streams clean and sustain their flow, but they are underappreciated and their function is not widely understood. The Nueces River Authority’s Riparian Network, with initial funding from the Dixon Water Foundation, is aimed at bringing that information to landowners and other decision makers through mailings, workshops and on-the-ground visits. The goal is a critical mass of people who interact with each other and manage riparian resources based on shared knowledge.
