RIVER CLEAN-UP - Members of Friends of the Frio and First State Bank of Uvalde staff members
prepare to put Up2U bags to work on the Frio River on Farm-to-Market Road 1120 over the Memorial Day weekend.
Sky Lewey, resource protection and public education associate for the Nueces River Authority, said about 3,000 of the Up2U bags,
part of an effort to clean up area rivers, were handed out at various locations for people to use to
collect their own trash on local rivers.
